We are a small scouts troop located in the Baird Primary Academy in Hastings for young people aged between 10 and 14.
At Scouts you will take part in activities as diverse as kayaking, abseiling, expeditions, photography, climbing and zorbing. As a Scout you can learn survival skills, first aid, computer programming, or even how to fly a plane. There’s something for every young person. It’s a great way to have fun, make friends, get outdoors, express your creativity and experience the wider world..
We meet every Tuesday between the times of 7 and 9 PM.
As part of scouts you will have the opportunity to take part in our yearly summer camp which is held on the last week of July. On this week long camp, you will participate in different and adventurous activities, these include visiting a theme park; white water rafting; gauge walking and indoor skiing. This camp will always be held in Lancashire, Derbyshire, South Wales or Yorkshire, which alternate each year. Last years summer camp photos can be found on our FaceBook page which can be accessed below
At Scouts we have a compulsory uniform, this can be bought from SuperStitch 86. We will provide a t-shirt, scarf and all the badges which are to be sown onto the shirt. (The placement on these badges is shown on the diagram)
